Team India and Tamil Nadu’s spin bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar scored his second first-class century for his state during the Ranji Trophy match against Delhi on day two (Saturday, October 19). The teams of Tamil Nadu and Delhi are facing each other in the Elite Group D of Ranji Trophy at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
In this match, Washington Sundar came to bat at number three, and along with Sai Sudarshan played some attractive strokes and ensured that Tamil Nadu scored at a good run rate in their second match. Sudarshan completed his double century (213) on the second day and Washington Sundar fully supported him.

He went over the slip cordon into the third-man area on the fourth ball of the 91st over. Sundar celebrated his century by taking off his helmet and raised his bat to greet his fellow batsmen.

This is his first first class century in the last 7 years. Earlier, he had achieved this feat against Tripura in 2017, which was also the first first class century of his career. Then, while opening, he scored 159 runs on 231 balls.
