Now the International Cricket Council is very worried about the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 from October 3. Actually this tournament is to be played in Dhaka and Sylhet Cricket Stadium of Bangladesh and its final match will be held on October 20. However, according to the report of The Times of India, a spokesperson of the International Cricket Council has said that the global organization has not yet decided to play the tournament outside Bangladesh but they are closely monitoring its development.

An ICC spokesperson told The Times of India, “The ICC is in talks with the Bangladesh Cricket Board regarding the tournament and is also keeping a close watch on developments. The most important thing for us is the safety of the players. If the tournament is played in Bangladesh, then the BCB will have to take important steps regarding security.”

A total of 23 matches will be played in Women’s T20 World Cup 2024

Let us tell you, a total of 23 matches will be played within 18 days in this important tournament starting from October 3. All these matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka and the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet. Earlier this year, the International Cricket Council announced the schedule of the upcoming tournament during an event in Dhaka in which Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana were also present.
