Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and current captain Rohit Sharma have been some of the brilliant cricketers of India. All three players have performed brilliantly for India and have single-handedly won many matches.

So, under the captaincy of all three, the Indian team has won some historic matches. India won the T20 World Cup 2007, World Cup 2011 and Champions Trophy 2013 under the captaincy of Dhoni. So Kohli is the player from India who has won the most Test matches (40) as captain.

On the other hand, if a recent survey is to be believed, then former Indian captain and popularly known as Run Machine Virat Kohli is at the third most searched account on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Kohli is behind Shri Narendra Modi who is at number one and actor Vijay who is at number two. Apart from this, Indian team’s Test and ODI captain Rohit Sharma is present at number 8 in this list. Whereas MS Dhoni, who rarely uses social media, is at number 9 in the list of most searched accounts on X.

Rohit-Kohli had retired from T20 cricket

It is noteworthy that after winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, former captain Virat Kohli had decided to say goodbye to T20 International cricket. Apart from Kohli, captain Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also said goodbye to the shortest format of the game.

All these three cricketers were seen playing in the recently concluded three-match Test series against Bangladesh. So now all three will be seen playing in the upcoming three-match home test series against New Zealand.
