Virat Kohli is going to end his 8 year old relationship with Puma; What is the reason behind this?

India’s star batsman and most followed athlete in Asia, Virat Kohli (Virat Kohli) The famous sportswear brand is reportedly all set to end its eight-year-old deal with Puma.

CNBC-TV 18 has given this information to the world on its social media handle CNBC reporter said that Virat Kohli is leaving PUMA India and joining one-year-old sportswear brand Agilitas Sports, which was founded in 2023 by former PUMA MD Abhishek Ganguly.

However, in response to this report, the Managing Director of Puma India said, “Puma’s relationship with Virat Kohli is long-standing and ongoing.” Meanwhile, the former Indian captain’s decision marks the end of his long-standing relationship with Puma, which began in 2017 with a deal worth Rs 110 crore.

According to CNBC-TV 18 and other media reports, Virat Kohli is going to be the new face of Agilitas Sports, a company founded by former Managing Director (MD) of Puma India Abhishek Ganguly. Kohli will not only endorse the products of Agilitas Sports, but will also have a stake in the company.

According to CNBC-TV 18’s X post, “One partnership ends to support another, which was between Virat and Abhishek Ganguly. Apart from this, Virat will also hold some equity in Agilitas. #ViratKohli is all set to end his 8 year relationship with @PUMA. Sources tell @blitzkreigm that @imVkohli will be joining as the brand ambassador of a domestic company in which he also has a stake.”
