England’s legendary fast bowler James Anderson has recently retired from international cricket. James Anderson played his last international match against West Indies at Lord’s Cricket Ground. After James Anderson retired from international cricket, Star Sports shared a video on their social media account and they paid tribute to the English fast bowler in a special way. They also shared a clip of Virat Kohli in which the Indian batsman praised Anderson a lot.

Let us tell you, in international cricket, there has always been a fierce clash between these two players between bat and ball. Both the players have always dominated each other. Virat Kohli also revealed that when he started playing cricket, he used to copy James Anderson’s bowling action.

Virat Kohli told Star Sports, ‘During the English tour, we were playing a Test match in Southampton and James Anderson was bowling. After the match was over, I told him that I used to copy his bowling action when I was in the cricket academy.’

James Anderson and Virat Kohli faced each other 36 times in Test cricket in which the Indian batsman scored 305 runs with the help of 39 boundaries while the English fast bowler took Kohli’s wicket seven times.

James Anderson told Sky Sports, ‘Sometimes you get to see ups and downs. In some series you feel very good but in the next you are not able to perform well at all. In the early days against Virat Kohli, you felt that the Indian batsman could be dismissed on every ball but now it is very difficult to dismiss him.’
