In Club Prairie Fire Podcast, Virender Sehwag told about his Indian team for T20 World Cup 2024. According to the former Indian batsman, Rohit Sharma should captain the team and Yashasvi Jaiswal should play with him as an opening batsman. According to Sehwag, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav should bat in the middle order and Rishabh Pant should be included in the team as wicketkeeper.

The most surprising decision of Virender Sehwag was that he did not give place to Hardik Pandya in this team. Ravindra Jadeja has got a place as an all-rounder in Virender Sehwag’s playing XI. Not only this, Sandeep Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj have been included in the list of fast bowlers.

The former batsman has given place to Kuldeep Yadav as a spinner, whereas according to Sehwag, either Rinku Singh or Shivam Dubey should be included in the team as a finisher.
