During the visit of Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness to India, legendary West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle had a friendly meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chris Gayle met at Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Tuesday, October 1. The excited Jamaican, 45, shared the video of the memorable occasion on his official Instagram handle.

Hosting his Jamaican counterpart Andrew Holness, Prime Minister Modi presented him a cricket bat signed by members of the Indian cricket team. In return, Holness presented Modi a cricket bat signed by legend Chris Gayle, who was invited to the event. The main objective of the meeting was to promote relations between the two countries in various aspects.

‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle is undoubtedly one of the most loved foreign cricketers in India, with a huge fan following. The left-handed batsman, who played 103 Test matches, 301 ODIs and 79 T20 matches for West Indies, has won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title twice for West Indies (2012, 2016).
