The second match of the ongoing three-match Test series between England and Sri Lanka (ENG vs SL) has started on Thursday, 29 August at the historic Lord’s ground in London. At the end of the first day of this match, England has scored 358 runs for the loss of 7 wickets while batting brilliantly.

For England, former captain Joe Root batted brilliantly and scored 143 runs, scoring the 33rd century of his Test career. Apart from Root, fast bowler Gus Atkinson was also seen batting brilliantly and is still at the crease, scoring 74* runs in 81 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes.
