Pakistan is all set to host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has strongly agreed that they will not go to Pakistan to play this tournament. Many people have given their views on this matter so far.

Not only this, the International Cricket Council had also recently called a meeting in Dubai to discuss the hosting rights of Pakistan. There are also reports coming out that India’s matches in ICC Champions Trophy 2025 can be played in Dubai.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Mohsin Naqvi has said that no question should be raised on why the tournament will be removed from Pakistan. This tournament will be held in Pakistan only. Pakistan was also to host the Asia Cup 2023 but India had refused to travel to its neighboring country due to security concerns and hence this tournament was held in Sri Lanka instead of Pakistan. All India’s matches were played in Sri Lanka.

‘Jasprit Bumrah is a joke’ – shocking statement of former English bowler after Perth Test

Bumrah took 8 wickets in both the innings of that Test match and for this he was chosen Player of the Match. In the match, India achieved a spectacular victory within four days and took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. After seeing the brilliant bowling in that match, former England cricket team fast bowler Steven Finn has praised Jasprit Bumrah’s performance in the first Test match against Australia. Finn praised him a lot and even said that he is the best player in the world. Speaking with former England captain Alastair Cook on TNT Sports, Steven Finn said, “Jaiswal scored a brilliant 161, but he is the player I like to watch. That is Jasprit Bumrah. I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket. Perth, I know it’s not the WACA; I know it’s a new stadium, but still, historically, Australia hasn’t lost many matches there. I thought India performed very bravely there.” Let us tell you that, Bumrah now has 118 wickets in 27 Test matches in SENA countries at an impressive average of 22.55, which also includes his career best performance (6/33). During this period, he has taken five wicket hauls 7 times, which is equal to Kapil Dev. They are followed by BS Chandrashekhar and Zaheer Khan (six each), and Bishan Singh Bedi and Anil Kumble (five each).
