This is because India will not tour Pakistan to play in the Champions Trophy 2025. So far, no statement has come from the Board of Control for Cricket in India regarding this, but there may be a change in the venue of the Champions Trophy 2025. In this, Sri Lanka or UAE can be included in the backup venue.

Pakistan’s veteran fast bowler Hasan Ali has put forth his view on this. According to Hasan Ali, if India does not tour Pakistan for the Champion Trophy 2025, then this event should be organized without them.

Hasan Ali said on Sama TV, ‘If we are going to India and playing, then they should also come to Pakistan. Many people have said this many times that sports should not be linked to politics. But if you look at it from a different perspective, many Indian players have said in interviews that they also want to play in Pakistan. This does not mean that the team does not want to come there. All the players want this but politics, country and board are not allowing this to happen.’

If India doesn’t want to come then we should play the Champions Trophy without them: Hasan Ali

Hasan Ali further said, ‘Like our Pakistan Cricket Board president has said that if the Champions Trophy is to be held in Pakistan, it will be held here only. Apart from Pakistan, no other country should host this tournament. If India does not want to come, then we will have to play without them. Cricket should be played in Pakistan only and if India does not want to participate here, it does not mean that cricket is completely over. There are other teams apart from India.’

Let us tell you, India last visited Pakistan in 2008. Asia Cup 2023 was to be held in Pakistan but India refused to travel here. However, after this the tournament was played under the hybrid model. India played all its matches in Sri Lanka and won the tournament.
