Former West Indies player Courtney Walsh is very upset for the last one week because people are not able to contact him. Actually Courtney Walsh’s phone has been stolen. The veteran has tweeted through social media explaining his problem. He told his close ones that the numbers of Jamaica and Antigua are currently switched off.

On August 17, Courtney Walsh tweeted on social media, writing,

My phone was stolen last Saturday and no information has been received till date. So anyone trying to contact me on my JA number or Antigua number will not be able to contact me at the moment.

Former West Indies captain Courtney Walsh made his international cricket debut in 1984 and played his last match in January 2000. Walsh gave 15 years to West Indies cricket. The legend has taken a total of 746 wickets in his international career. He took 519 wickets in 132 Test matches, including 22 five-wicket hauls. At the same time, he took 227 wickets in 205 ODIs.

Courtney Walsh was appointed as the consultant of the women’s team by the Zimbabwe Cricket Board this year. However, the Zimbabwe women’s team failed to qualify for the T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in October.

West Indies team is playing a two match test series against South Africa

A two-match Test series is being played between West Indies and South Africa. The second match of the series is being played at Providence Stadium from 15 August. The South African team was all out for 160 runs in the first innings. At the same time, West Indies also lost all wickets for 144 runs. By the end of the second day, the African team has scored 223 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in the second innings and has also taken a lead of 239 runs.
