Yashasvi Jaiswal impressed everyone with his performance in IPL last year. After this he represented India in Test and T20I. In the IPL 2024 season, he scored 435 runs in 15 matches at an average of 31 and a strike rate of 155.91.

Plan B: Let Ro-Ko open the innings for India?

Virat Kohli is in tremendous form at the moment. He scored 741 runs in IPL 2024 and won the Orange Cap. During this, his average is 61.75 and strike rate is 154.70. He scored five half-centuries and one century while opening for RCB.

Rohit is also in good form. Let us tell you that Rohit and Virat have opened the innings only once in T20I cricket, that too against England in Ahmedabad in 2021. During this, both of them made a partnership of 94 runs in just 9 overs. Both scored half-centuries. However, unfortunately since then both of them have not opened together.
