Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami’s childhood coach Mohammed Badruddin has revealed that he is fully prepared for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Badruddin said the Bengal fast bowler will leave for Australia to join the Indian team after the second Border-Gavaskar Test in Adelaide.

Shami recently returned to the cricket field through Ranji Trophy and he also took 4 wickets in the first innings against Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, he also played a quick inning of 37 runs in 36 balls for his team in the second innings, which included 2 fours and 2 sixes.

After this brilliant performance of the fast bowler, there were reports that he is all set for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Now his childhood coach has confirmed that Shami will go to Australia.

Badruddin was quoted by the Indian Express as saying that he will join the Indian team after the Adelaide (second) Test. Now that he has made a comeback, has proved his fitness, has taken wickets, he will prove to be important for the team in the second half of the tour.

Let us tell you that Mohammed Shami last played in the 2023 ODI World Cup. He was the bowler taking the highest number of wickets (24) in the tournament. The last Test match he played was the final of the World Test Championship in 2023.
