The 27th match of IPL 2024 is being played between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals in Mullanpur. Today many changes were seen in the playing eleven of both the teams. Apart from this, a new young player has joined the Rajasthan team whose name is Tanush Kotian.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bowl. Batting first, Punjab Kings scored 147 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Rajasthan Royals got the target of 148 runs to win. Everyone was wondering that if Jos Buttler is not playing the match today, then who will open in his place along with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Everyone predicted that Sanju Samson would open the innings. Who is Tanush Kotian?

Tanush Kotian is a resident of Mumbai and he is 25 years old. Kotian, who plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket, recently performed brilliantly for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy final. Kotian was successful in making important contributions with ball and bat in the Ranji Trophy final. IPL No team bid on him in the 2024 auction which was quite disappointing.

After this, Rajasthan Royals suffered a big blow when Adam Zampa withdrew his name from IPL due to personal reasons. In such a situation, a few hours before the start of the 17th season of IPL, Rajasthan Royals had signed Tanush Kotian at a base price of Rs 20 lakh.
