Former Indian fast bowler David Johnson died on June 20 (Thursday) after falling from the fourth floor balcony of his apartment. According to reports, Johnson was suffering from health problems for a long time, due to which he committed suicide. Johnson was running a cricket academy near his house. He was 52 years old, and his family includes his wife and two children.

David Johnson has played two Test matches for India, during which he took 3 wickets at an average of 47.66. Johnson never got a chance to play an ODI match for India.

Indian team gave target of 182 runs to Afghanistan

Talking about the match being played between IND vs AFG, Team India won the toss and batted first and scored 181 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. The team lost four big wickets at the score of 90. Rohit Sharma (8), Rishabh Pant (20), Virat Kohli (24) and Shivam Dubey (10) returned to the pavilion cheaply.

Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya again shared a crucial 60-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant innings of 53 runs in 28 balls with the help of 5 fours and 3 sixes. Vice-captain Hardik Pandya scored 32 runs in 24 balls. Rashid Khan and Fazalhaq Farooqui took the maximum 3-3 wickets for Afghanistan.
