The hosting rights of the Champions Trophy 2025 are with the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Vice President Rajeev Shukla has given a big statement regarding the Indian cricket team’s participation in the Champions Trophy 2025. It is noteworthy that this time this Champions Trophy is going to be hosted by Pakistan.
So there is every possibility that this multinational tournament will be hosted by Pakistan in the months of February and March next year. But due to the ongoing differences between the governments of India and Pakistan, there is little possibility of the Indian cricket team taking part.

Let us tell you that in a recent interview given to the media, when Rajiv Shukla was asked whether the Indian team will go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, he said – Look, the Champions Trophy is coming next. We will do whatever the Government of India tells us in this matter. If the Indian government gives us permission, we will send our team to Pakistan. In this entire matter we will work according to the decision of the Government of India.

Also, let us tell you that earlier the hosting rights of Asia Cup 2023 were also with Pakistan Cricket Board. But due to not getting permission from the Indian government to go to Pakistan, the Indian cricket team was seen playing its matches on hybrid model. India played all its matches in Sri Lanka. So this time too, there is every possibility that the Indian team may once again be seen playing all its Champions Trophy matches in the hybrid model.
