Today i.e. on 6th October, an important match of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 was played between Team India and Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. Team India won this match by 6 wickets. All the players from the Indian team performed strongly and played an important role in the victory of their team.

In this match, Pakistan’s batsmen failed to show their best batting performance and the team scored 105 runs after losing eight wickets in 20 overs. For Pakistan, experienced player Nida Dar scored 28 runs. She was the highest run scorer for her team. Apart from Nida Dar, wicketkeeper batsman Muniba Ali contributed 17 runs while captain Fatima Sana scored 13 runs.

Syeda Aroob Shah played an inning of 14* runs. All the bowlers from Team India played their roles brilliantly. Arundhati Reddy took three wickets for 19 runs in four overs while Sri Lankan Patil took two wickets for 12 runs in four overs. Renuka Singh Thakur, Deepti Sharma and Asha Shobhana took one wicket each.

Team India, which came to chase the target of 106 runs, did not start so well and experienced opener Smriti Mandhana was out after scoring 7 runs. However, Shefali Verma played a valuable inning of 32 runs for India. Shefali Verma handled one end well and added valuable runs for her team.

Jemimah Rodrigues also played an inning of 23 runs. After the first wicket fell soon, there was a valuable partnership of 43 runs between these two players for the second wicket. On behalf of the Indian team, captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 29* runs and led her team to victory. For Pakistan, Fatima Sana took two wickets for 23 runs in four overs.

‘Jasprit Bumrah is a joke’ – shocking statement of former English bowler after Perth Test

Bumrah took 8 wickets in both the innings of that Test match and for this he was chosen Player of the Match. In the match, India achieved a spectacular victory within four days and took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. After seeing the brilliant bowling in that match, former England cricket team fast bowler Steven Finn has praised Jasprit Bumrah’s performance in the first Test match against Australia. Finn praised him a lot and even said that he is the best player in the world. Speaking with former England captain Alastair Cook on TNT Sports, Steven Finn said, “Jaiswal scored a brilliant 161, but he is the player I like to watch. That is Jasprit Bumrah. I think he really is the best player in the world. Honestly, sometimes I think bowling like him is a joke! You see him bowling and you just think, I’m glad I don’t have to come out to bat.” He further said, “I was surprised that India went there (Australia) and defeated Australia, where usually it is very difficult to go and play cricket. Perth, I know it’s not the WACA; I know it’s a new stadium, but still, historically, Australia hasn’t lost many matches there. I thought India performed very bravely there.” Let us tell you that, Bumrah now has 118 wickets in 27 Test matches in SENA countries at an impressive average of 22.55, which also includes his career best performance (6/33). During this period, he has taken five wicket hauls 7 times, which is equal to Kapil Dev. They are followed by BS Chandrashekhar and Zaheer Khan (six each), and Bishan Singh Bedi and Anil Kumble (five each).
