In the Women’s Asia Cup 2024, a match is being played between India Women and UAE Women today. Where the UAE team won the toss and invited India to bat first. Kavisha Egodage made Mandhana her victim on the second ball of the third over. She scored 13 runs in 9 balls. After this, Shefali Verma also got out on the ball of Samaira Dharnidhar By Tirtha Satish Shefali batted aggressively and scored 37 runs in 18 balls with the help of 5 fours and a six.

In the last over of the powerplay, Heena Hotchandani bowled Dayalan Hemalatha to give the third blow to the Indian team. After losing three wickets, Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemima Rodrigues are handling the innings. The team has depth in batting and hence it can be expected that the Indian team will be able to make a strong score.

Defeated Pakistan in the first match

Earlier, the Indian team started the Asia Cup with a victory against Pakistan. It defeated the Pakistani team by 7 wickets in the match played on 19 July. Pakistan was all out for 108 runs while batting first in the match. In response, the target was achieved by losing three wickets thanks to the strong innings of Shefali Verma and Smriti Mandhana.

Deepti Sharma bowled brilliantly and took three wickets for just 20 runs in a spell of four overs. She won the Player of the Match award for this excellent bowling.
