Womens Asia Cup 2024, 1st Semi Final IND-W vs BAN-W: The ongoing Women’s Asia Cup has now reached its final stage. Let us tell you that the first semi-final match of the tournament was played today on 26 July, Friday, between the women’s cricket teams of India and Bangladesh (IND-W vs BAN-W) at the Ranggiri Dabunla International Cricket Stadium.

Let us tell you that in this match, the Indian team has qualified for the final by winning against Bangladesh in a one-sided manner by 10 wickets. On the other hand, fast bowler Renuka Singh Thakur made a significant contribution in bowling to help India win this match, for which she was awarded the Player of the Match (POTM) award.

Against Bangladesh, she bowled brilliantly in her quota of four overs and took 3 important wickets of the opposition team. Renuka got India its first wicket in the very first over and then took a wicket in the third over and then took 1 wicket in the fifth over itself, thus destroying the top order of the opposition team.

On the other hand, if we tell you about the match in detail, then Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. But the Bangladeshi team was able to score only 80 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs in front of the brilliant bowling of the Indian team.

For the team, captain Nigar Sultana played the best innings of just 32 runs, while in the end Shorna Akhtar remained unbeaten by scoring 19* runs. In bowling for India, apart from Renuka’s three wickets, Radha Yadav took 3 wickets and Pooja Vastrakar and Deepti Sharma got 1-1 wickets.

After this, when the Indian team came out to chase the target of 81 runs given by Bangladesh, it achieved it in 11 overs without losing any wicket. For India, opener Shefali Verma remained unbeaten by scoring 26* and Smriti Mandhana remained unbeaten by scoring 55* runs.
