WPL 2024, BAN-W vs DEL-W: The 19th match of the Women’s Premier League 2024 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and chose to bowl first, in which the team was successful. Batting first, Mumbai Indians were all out for 113 runs in 19 overs. Royal Challengers Bangalore chased the target in just 15 overs and won by 7 wickets. With this win, RCB has reached the playoffs with 4 wins and 8 points in 8 matches.

Mumbai Indians, who came to bat against Royal Challengers Bangalore, got a good start. There was a partnership of 43 runs for the first wicket between Haley Mathews and Yastika Bhatia. Hayley Mathews lost her wicket against Sophie Devine in the sixth over after scoring 26 runs in 23 balls.
After which, in the 9th over, Ellyse Perry sent S Sajna (30) and Harmanpreet Kaur to the pavilion for golden ducks. Perry then dismissed Amelia Kar (2) and Amanjot Kaur (4) in the 11th over. Ellyse Perry then completed the haul of 6 wickets by dismissing Pooja Vastrakar (6) and Nat Siver-Brunt (10) in the 13th over.

While chasing the target, RCB faced setbacks early. Sophie Molineau became the victim of Hayley Mathews in the fourth over and lost her wicket for 9 runs. Then in the very next over, Smriti Mandhana lost her wicket against Net Siver Brunt after scoring 11 runs. Sophie Devine also could not show anything special and was out for 4 runs in the 7th over.
After which there was a match winning partnership of 76 runs between Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh. Richa Ghosh played an unbeaten inning of 36* runs with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes in 28 balls. Elise Perry played an unbeaten inning of 40* runs in 38 balls with the help of 5 fours and 1 six. Shabnam Ismail, Haley Mathews, and Nate Siver-Brunt took 1 wicket each for Mumbai Indians.
