In the first season of the Women’s Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Asha Shobhana for Rs 10 lakh. Last season, Asha had taken 5 wickets in 5 matches. Asha Shobhana John played brilliantly for Puducherry in the women’s one-day trophy. In 7 innings with the bat, he scored 225 runs at an average of 32.14 and with the help of 2 half-centuries.
