WPL 2024 Orange and Purple Cap Update: The 15th match of the Women’s Premier League 2024 was played between Delhi Capitals Women and UP Warriors Women’s team. UP Warriors captain Alyssa Healy won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, UP Warriors put 138 runs on the board at the loss of 8 wickets. Deepti Sharma played the highest innings for the team of 59 runs in 48 balls with the help of 6 fours and 1 six.

Whereas captain Alyssa Healy played an inning of 29 runs in 30 balls with the help of 5 fours. Titas Sadhu and Radha Yadav took maximum 2-2 wickets for Delhi Capitals. Apart from these, Shikha Pandey, Arundhati Reddy, Jess Jonassen and Alice Capsey took 1 wicket each. Delhi Capitals, while chasing the target, also lost early wickets.

But Meg Lanning’s captaincy innings ensured the team’s victory. Meg Lanning played an inning of 60 runs in 46 balls with the help of 12 fours. But the game turned in the 17th over bowled by Sophie Ecclestone, Sophie gave only 1 run. After which, in the 19th over, Deepti Sharma gave only 5 runs and dismissed Annabel Sutherland (6), Arundhati Reddy (0), and Shikha Pandey (4).
