Gujarat Giants captain Beth Mooney won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Gujarat Giants had put 190 runs on the board at the loss of 7 wickets. Captain Beth Mooney played an inning of 66 runs in 35 balls with the help of 8 fours and 3 sixes.
Dayalan Hemlata played an inning of 74 runs in 40 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes. There was also an excellent partnership of 121 runs between the two for the second wicket.
