Delhi Capitals reached the final of Women’s Premier League 2024 by defeating Gujarat Giants by 7 wickets.
WPL 2024, DEL-W vs GUJ-W: The last match of the Women’s Premier League 2024 League Stage Round was played between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Giants. Gujarat Giants won the toss and chose to bat first, but today the team could not show anything special. Batting first, the team could score only 126 runs at the loss of 9 wickets.

94 run partnership between Jemima and Shefali
Delhi Capitals, chasing the target against Gujarat Giants, got their first blow in the third over. Captain Meg Lanning was run-out by Laura Wolvaardt after scoring 18 runs in 10 balls. After which Ellis returned to the pavilion on a cappy duck in the third over itself. But then there was a match-winning partnership of 94 runs for the third wicket between Shefali Verma and Jemimah Rodriguez.
