WPL 2024, BAN-W vs UP-W: The 11th match of the Women’s Premier League 2024 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriors. UP Warriors captain Alyssa Healy won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Royal Challengers Bangalore put 198 runs on the board at the loss of 3 wickets. While chasing the target, UP Warriors could only score 175 runs at the loss of 8 wickets and Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 23 runs.

WPL 2024: Smriti Mandhana played explosive innings of 80 runs

Royal Challengers Bangalore came up with a different strategy against UP Warriors. Smriti Mandhana and S. Meghna had come to inaugurate. There was a partnership of 51 runs for the first wicket between Smriti and Meghna. S. Meghna played an inning of 28 runs in 21 balls with the help of 5 fours.

On the strength of Richa Ghosh’s unbeaten inning of 21 runs in 10 balls, Royal Challengers Bangalore again put 198 runs on the board. Which is also the highest total in the history of the league. Deepti Sharma, Anjali Sarwani and Sophie Ecclestone took 1 wicket each for UP Warriors.

Alyssa Healy played a brilliant innings

UP Warriors were given a great start by the pair of Kiran Navgire and Alyssa Healy. But in the fifth over, Sophie Devine gave the first success to Bangalore by taking the wicket of Kiran Navgire.
