The 19th match of the Women’s Premier League 2024 was played today between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, where RCB won by 7 wickets thanks to the all-round performance of Ellyse Perry. Batting first, Mumbai team collapsed for 113 runs. In response, RCB achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 15 overs. With this victory, Smriti Mandhana’s team has qualified for the playoffs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore, who set out to chase a simple target of 114 runs, suffered initial setbacks. RCB lost 3 wickets for just 39 runs, but Richa Ghosh and Ellyse Perry took over the innings. Both batted cautiously and made a match-winning partnership of 76 runs.

Alice Perry, who was amazing with the ball, also showed tremendous performance with the bat. He scored unbeaten 40 runs in 38 balls with the help of 5 fours and one six. Whereas Richa Ghosh played an unbeaten inning of 36 runs in 28 balls with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes. For Mumbai, Shabnim Ismail, Haley Mathews and Nat Siver Brunt got 1 wicket each.
