The eliminator match of WPL 2024 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Where RCB won the toss and decided to bat first. However, the team had a very poor start and its opening batsmen could not do anything special.
Opener Sophie Devine was lucky to avoid getting out in the first over. Actually, Shabnim Ismail’s ball took the edge of Divine’s bat and hit the leg stump. But the wickets of the stump did not fall and hence he was not given out.
The video of this incident quickly went viral on social media and fans gave their reactions. However, Sophie Devine could not take advantage of the life support she received and became the victim of Hayley Matthews. Haley bowled Sophie on the personal score of 10 in the second over.

Sophie’s opening partner and captain Smriti Mandhana (10) also got out cheaply. He lost his wicket playing a wrong shot. After both the openers were out, Disha Kasat returned to the pavilion without opening the account. RCB lost three important wickets within the powerplay.
