The second season of the Women’s Premier League has started. The second match of this fantastic tournament is currently being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Giants at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Gujarat Giants is being captained by Beth Mooney this season. Beth Mooney is hopeful that Gujarat Giants will perform well this season and will definitely win the 2024 trophy. Let us tell you, the head coach of Gujarat Giants team this season is Michael Kallinger while the mentor of the team is Mithali Raj. The responsibility of vice-captain has been given to Indian all-rounder Sneh Rana.

Beth Mooney said before her first match of the Women’s Premier League 2024, ‘The group is fully prepared for this season and everyone is very excited. We have been working hard for the last one week and the results will be quite good. We are all fully prepared for the first match against RCB and we would definitely like to win this match.

Mentor Mithali Raj said, ‘If the Women’s Premier League is held in every city, then the fans of the franchise will also increase significantly. I would definitely like to share my experience with the young players and also tell them about their role. The team is looking very strong since last season and the mentality of all the players is also very positive.
