In an excellent match played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on March 10, Delhi Capitals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by one run. With this win, Delhi Capitals has made it to the playoffs of the Women’s Premier League 2024. Delhi is the second team after Mumbai Indians to qualify for the playoffs this season.

Batting first in this match, Delhi Capitals scored 181 runs losing five wickets in 20 overs. Jemimah Rodrigues batted brilliantly on behalf of the team and played an excellent inning of 58 runs. RCB scored only 180 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Richa Ghosh played a brilliant inning of 51 runs on behalf of the team but failed to lead her team to victory. Jemimah Rodrigues

Delhi Capitals’ best batsman Jemimah Rodrigues played an unbeaten inning of 69 runs in 33 balls against Mumbai. After this, he also batted very well against RCB and scored 58 runs. Because of his innings, the young batsman was awarded the Player of the Match award against RCB.

This is Jemimah Rodrigues’s 15th Player of the Match award in women’s T20 cricket. At the age of 23, she has the record of winning the POTM Award for the second most number of times in Women’s T20. The first place in this list is Amelia Kerr of Mumbai Indians, who has won the Player of the Match award 16 times so far.
