After the win against Bangladesh, South Africa has reached fourth position in the WTC points table.
WTC 2025 Updated Points Table- The first match of the two-Test series between South Africa and Bangladesh was played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. In this match, South Africa defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the series and also jumped into the World Test Championship points table.
Before this match, South Africa was at 6th position in the WTC points table, while Bangladesh was at 7th position. But after the end of the Dhaka Test, South Africa has jumped two places from 6th to 4th. Whereas Bangladesh is still present at 7th position.
WTC England and New Zealand suffered loss in 2025 Points Table
With this victory of South Africa, New Zealand and England have lost 1 place each in the points table. After winning the first test against India, the Kiwi team had reached the fourth position, but now it has slipped to the 5th position in the latest points table. England is currently playing a three-match Test series against Pakistan.
After the first two matches of the ongoing series against Pakistan, England was at fifth position, but now it has slipped to number 6. Whereas Pakistan is still present at eighth position. Talking about the Indian team, despite the defeat in the Bengaluru Test against New Zealand, Rohit and Company remain at number one.
India’s winning percentage is 68.06. Along with India, Australia is in the top-2, whose winning percentage is 62.50. India is currently playing the second match of the Test series against New Zealand and by winning this match, India would like to further strengthen its claim for the next final of the WTC.
