Darren Gough, managing director of Yorkshire Cricket Club, has resigned from his post. Let us tell you, Darren Gough took over the role in an interim capacity in December 2021.

Actually, this decision has come in the wake of Azim Rafiq racism case in which many employees and management of the club have resigned from their posts. Darren Gough also oversaw the appointment of head coach Ottis Gibson. Darren Gough also said that it was a great honor to work for Yorkshire.

According to ESPNcricinfo, Darren Gough said, ‘It feels great that I was with the club in the last two editions and worked for them. Resigning from my post was a very challenging decision for me. We have done a lot for English cricket and taken the Yorkshire club to a higher level.

During my time we achieved many achievements and I am very happy about this. We have done a lot of work for the men’s team and have taken it to new heights. This is the reason why the men’s team and Northern Diamonds are in a very good position at the moment.
