Indian young wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant started his IPL career in 2016 playing for Delhi Capitals. Pant will be seen playing for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025, the franchise has bought him for Rs 27 crore in the mega auction. Rishabh has become the most expensive player in IPL history. Pant can captain LSG in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal issued a statement saying that he tried his best to keep Pant happy in Delhi, but in the end it could not happen. Parth Jindal is very sad that Rishabh is no longer a part of his team. He said that he hopes to meet his younger brother again in the future.

All the best from all of us at Delhi Capitals – apart from when you play against DC, I will always be cheering you on and hoping for the best for you.

Rishabh Pant has played 11 matches for Delhi Capitals, in which he has scored 3284 runs at a strike rate of 148.93. He captained the franchise for four years but could not win the team a trophy even once.
