Former Indian team player Yuvraj Singh has recognized a four-year-old cricket prodigy girl named Rishika from Kolkata. Rishika’s video is going viral on social media. Yuvraj Singh also saw this video and now the former Indian player is also very happy with the talent of this young girl.

Yuvraj Singh has announced that he will finance a little girl at the Merlin Rice Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence in Kolkata. He will support this little girl in sports as well as studies.

A few days ago, Rishika’s video of playing cricket with her father went viral in which her batting technique was quite similar to that of professional players. Many people praised Rishika’s batting.

Yuvraj Singh said that he is very happy that the little girl has a lot of talent and she has learned many great shots at a very young age which she is playing very well. The former Indian player said, ‘The Yuvraj Singh Center of Excellence at Merlin Rice Kolkata helps young cricket talent a lot. Cricket talent has always been at the forefront in Bengal and we are giving this special opportunity to young talented players like Rishika Sarkar.

I have seen videos of him playing cricket and I believe he has learnt a lot at a very young age. I will send him for training at YSCE, High Performance Centre Kolkata where our coaches will help him learn a lot.’

Yuvraj Singh gifted a cricket bat to Rishika

Rishika belongs to a very poor family and she and her family have to face a lot of difficulties to get food every day. However, despite this, Rishika practices for 6 hours every day so that her game can improve.

Rishika’s father Rajiv Sarkar trains the young player daily. Rishika will take coaching at the Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence three days a week and all the coaches will keep a close eye on her.
