In recent times, Chahal has not been able to make a regular place in India’s limited overs team. This star spinner last played a T-20 match in August 2023, while his last ODI match was in January 2023.

Let us tell you that 33-year-old Chahal was a part of the Men in Blue for the three-match ODI series against South Africa in December last year, but he could not play in a single match and just kept warming the bench in all three matches.

Ignored by the selectors, it seems that Yuzvendra Chahal is not included in the plans for the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup. However, still some veteran cricketers and experts believe that he deserves to play in this big tournament.
