A five-match T20 series is currently going on between Zimbabwe and India (ZIM vs IND). The second match of the series was played between the two teams today on Sunday, July 7 at Harare Sports Club in Harare. Let us tell you that in this match, Team India defeated the host team by 100 runs and tied the T20 series 1-1.

So before this match, Team India had to face defeat by 13 runs in the first T20 match. So taking lessons from this defeat, Team India made a great comeback and won by 100 runs.

Talking about the match, batting first, the Indian team set a strong target of 235 runs for Zimbabwe to win, while chasing which they could score only 134 runs and had to face a huge defeat of 100 runs in the match.

Playing only his second T20 match, young all-rounder Abhishek Sharma played a vital role in helping Team India reach the score of 235 runs. Abhishek completed his century in 46 balls and became the 9th player from India to score a century in T20 International cricket.

In the match, he scored a total of 100 runs in 47 balls with the help of 7 fours and 8 towering sixes. While playing a big shot on the last ball of the 14th over, he got out on the ball of Wellington Masakadza. So after the match was over, Abhishek Sharma was given the Player of the Match award for this amazing batting.

With this win, India has leveled the five-match T20 series 1-1. Now the third match of the series between the two teams will be played on July 10 at the same ground in Harare.
