I don’t blame the injury because it is an integral part of a player’s life. Whatever happened, happened, I want to work on myself in this off-season.

I am working on my shoulder and arm as well. I was very happy when the call-up came from India but you know injuries happen. No worries, opportunities are going to come. I just want to be ready for it.

Nitish further said about his injury- I have sports hernia, it is a minor injury. The medical team has said that surgery is not required for this. I just need to rest a bit, and do rehab for some time. I don’t know how long it will take, but I am feeling better now. But in the end it is my physio’s call.
