Zimbabwe created history in T20 cricket, made the biggest score in history

Zimbabwe cricket team has created history in T20 International cricket. Let us tell you that today Zimbabwe faced Zambia in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup South Africa Sub Regional Qualifier B.

In this match, Zimbabwe scored 344 runs at the loss of four wickets in 20 overs on the basis of an unbeaten inning of 133* runs played by captain Sikandar Raza with the help of 7 fours and 15 sixes in 43 balls.

This has now become the highest score in T20 International cricket history. Before Zimbabwe, Nepal had scored 314 runs against Mongolia in the year 2023. So the third highest score in T20 cricket is in the name of India, which recently scored 297 runs against Bangladesh.

On the other hand, if we tell you the condition of this match, Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 344 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs.

For the team, openers Brian Bennett (50) and Tadiwanashe Marumani (62) gave a strong start to the team by adding 98 runs for the first wicket. Also, Ryan Burl scored 25 runs, Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten on 133* and Clive Madane remained unbeaten on 53*.

So when Zambia set out to chase the mountain-like target of 345 runs set by Zimbabwe, it was all out for just 54 runs in 14.4 overs. Andre Jarju played the best inning of 12 runs for the team. Apart from this, no other player could play a big innings.

In the match, Richard Ngarwa and Brendon Mavuta got 3-3 wickets for Zimbabwe. Apart from this, Veasley Madhavire got 2 successes and Ryan Burl got 1 success. Due to this brilliant bowling, Zambia had to face defeat by 290 runs in the match. This is Zimbabwe’s biggest win in terms of runs in T20 cricket.
